The Kerala High Court seeks report from the state government over the alleged killings of RSS workers in the state. The Court issued the directive while hearing a petition that sought a CBI probe into the alleged murder of eight RSS BJP workers after the Left government came to power. Hearing the petition, the Court asked why so many killings are taking place in one ditsrict alone. It further asked the government to file a detailed report on the current situation.
The government informed the court that sincere and fastpaced inquiry is going on in the matter and that there is no need for a CBI probe. The AG told the court that even murders over family feud are being potrrayed as political murders. The petition was heard by a division bench headed by the Chief Justice. The matter will be taken up again after the government files its response.
