ശ്രീഹരിക്കോട്ടയിലെ സതീഷ് ധവാന്‍ സ്‌പെയ്‌സ് സെന്ററില്‍ നിന്നും നേരിട്ടുള്ള വീഡിയോ കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സിങ്ങ് വഴിയാണ് മോദി എല്ലാകാര്യവും നിരീക്ഷിച്ചത്. വിക്ഷേപണത്തറയില്‍ നിന്നു 2.43ന് വിജയകരമായി ജിഎസ്എല്‍വി മാര്‍ക്ക് 3 റോക്കറ്റ് കുതിച്ചുയര്‍ന്ന ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ ചന്ദ്രയാന്‍ 2വിന്റെ പിന്നില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞരെ അദേഹം അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
