ബലാത്സംഗത്തിനിരയായ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിക്കെതിരെ അധിക്ഷേപ പ്രസ്താവനയുമായി ശശി തരൂര്‍, ട്വീറ്റിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധം

ഡല്‍ഹി: ബലാത്സംഗത്തിനിരയായ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയ്ക്ക് ‘വിശുദ്ധി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു എന്ന് ശശി തരൂര്‍ എപിയുടെ ട്വീറ്റിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധം ഉയരുന്നു.യുപിയിലെ ഉനാവ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടിക്ക് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സഹായങ്ങള്‍ ലഭ്യമാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുള്ള ട്വീറ്റിലാണ് തരൂര്‍ ബലത്സംഗ ഇരകളെ അപമാനിക്കുന്ന പരാമര്‍ശം നടത്തിയത്.

‘ഉനാവിന്റെ മകളുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ ചെലുത്തണം. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം അവള്‍ക്ക് ‘വിശുദ്ധി’ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു (lost her innocence). പിന്നെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെയും ബന്ധുക്കളെയും അഭിഭാഷകനെയും നഷ്ടമായി. ജീവനും അന്തസ്സിനും വേണ്ടി അവള്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും പോരാടുകയാണ്. സര്‍ക്കാറിന്റെ പരിഗണനയും മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ചികിത്സയും അവള്‍ അര്‍ഹിക്കുന്നു’

The government should show much more concern for the well-being of #UnnaoKiBeti. In the last year she has lost her innocence, her parents, relatives& lawyer, & is still fighting for her life &dignity. She deserves support & the best medical attention that the Govt can provide.

ബലാത്സംഗത്തിനിരയായ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ വിശുദ്ധി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു എന്ന പ്രയോഗം ശരിയല്ലെന്ന് വാദിച്ച് നിരവധി പേര്‍ എം.പിക്കെതിരെ രംഗത്ത് വന്നു. സംഭവത്തില്‍ ശശി തരൂര്‍ വിശദീകരണവുമായി എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.തന്റെ പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ തെറ്റില്ല എന്നാണ് തരൂര്‍ വാദിക്കുന്നത്.

For my critics:A loss of innocence connotes the end of our illusions about the world. A child believes the world is a safe&loving place, because she has that at home. Then she is bullied,attacked,mugged, or raped,&she can no longer trust;she fears people. She loses her innocence.
